Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account: email address, a password (stored as a salted hash), and optionally your phone number for SMS notifications.

We also collect heartbeat data from your monitored devices (source IP, user-agent, timestamps, and any metadata you include).

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and maintain the monitoring Service
  • Send alert notifications via email, SMS, or webhook as configured
  • Process billing and manage your subscription
  • Improve the Service and diagnose issues

3. SMS Consent

If you opt in to SMS notifications, we use your phone number solely to deliver alert messages via Twilio. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw SMS consent at any time from your profile settings. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (e.g. Stripe for billing, Twilio for SMS) who are contractually bound to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Heartbeat data is retained for incident tracking purposes. You may delete your account at any time, which removes your personal data.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Despite these measures, no service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@pushmonitor.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service.
